New Mexico United is excited to announce the winner of the first 2022 End-of-Year Player Award. In his first season with the Black & Yellow, Justin Portillo is the winner of the 2022 Newcomer-of-the-Year Award. Portillo was an instant leader on and off the pitch for United upon his arrival, his season included:

A club-high 5 assists

A club-high 63 chances created

A club-high 1,616 passes completed

34 matches played/32 starts

2,812 minutes played

22 shots

Awards were voted on by fans, media, and club staff. The remaining award-winners will be announced throughout the week.
