February 17, 2011 - Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL)
Montreal Juniors News Release

The Montreal Juniors overcame a 3-1 deficit with three unanswered goals of their own to capture a 4-3 victory over the Lewiston MAINEiacs Thursday night in Lewiston at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee.

Montreal jumped out to an early lead on Charles Landry's tenth goal of the season. But Lewiston rebounded with three goals in the first ten minutes of the second period to put the visitors on the ropes. Lewiston goal scorers were Etienne Brodeur, Stefan Fournier and Cole Hawes. But Montreal charged back, sparked by Montreal Canadiens draft pick Louis Leblanc coming out of his recent slump to register his eighteenth of the season. He was followed by goals from Captain Nicolas Chouinard and Jeremy Gouchie to cap off the Montreal rally.

Montreal goalie JF Berube turned aside 25 shots for the victory. Lewiston goalie Andrey Makarov took the loss while facing 38 shots from the Juniors.

NOTES: The Telus West Division leading Juniors return home tonight to face the Quebec Remparts in a 7:05pm game at the Verdun Auditorium. The Juniors finish off the weekend with a matinee fixture against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies at 3:05pm on Saturday at the Verdun Auditorium.
