
Juniors Triumph Over Mooseheads

Montreal Juniors News Release
Montreal scored 4 unanswered goals in the second and third periods in cruising to a 5-2 victory over the visiting Halifax Mooseheads Sunday afternoon at the Verdun Auditorium.
Montreal was paced by Louis Leblanc who registered one goal and three assists while taking home first star honours. Other Montreal goals came from Matt Provost, Charles Landry, Jean-Christophe Laflamme and Raphael Pouliot, who scored his first goal as a member of the Montreal Juniors. Halifax was paced by Brent Andrews and Charles Bety.
Etienne Marcoux turned aside 19 Halifax shots to post the win. Anthony Terenzio was replaced by Frederic Piche after Montreal's fourth goal. Montreal fired 37 shots at the Halifax tandem.
NOTES: Montreal plays host to Rouyn-Noranda this Friday and then a crucial game against Gatineau on Sunday, all at the Verdun Auditorium.
