January 16, 2011 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) - Lewiston MAINEiacs News Release

Lewiston, ME (QMJHL) - Matt Bissonnette will remember his 19th birthday for quite some time. Chaput buried his 19th goal of the season, with Kirill Kabanov also picking up a helper.

With 3:49 left in the first, Lewiston took the lead. Alex Zafiris flipped the puck through center ice to Antoine Houde-Caron. Houde-Caron was being pressured from behind, but still managed to get a backhander off, slipping it through Antonio Mastropietro.

In the second period, the Tigres retook the lead with a pair of tallies. Phillip Danault knotted the score on a power play, deflecting Bohumil Jank's point shot into the back of the net. Then, 1:23 later, Victoriaville went ahead, as Yannick Dube found a hole from the left circle. Troy Vance assisted on both goals for the home team.

Both shooters came up empty in the second round, but in the third round, the Tigres pulled even on a wrist shot by Philippe Maillet. In Lewiston's half of the round, Matt Bissonnette gave the visitors a win, spinning around, a roofing a shot over Mastropietro's glove.
