Montreal Juniors News Release
The Montreal Juniors continued their winning ways with a 4-1 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies Friday evening at the Verdun Auditorium.
Montreal was led by Jeremy Gouchie who had two goals and an assist. Montreal opened the scoring when Philippe Levebvre connected after returning from a two week absence. Montreal's fourth goal came from Charles-Olivier Roussel in the last minute of the game.
Rouyn-Noranda's lone goal was scored by Jeremi Janneteau.
J-F Berube collected the win for Montreal after turning aside 16 of 17 shots from the Huskies. Jeffrey Noonan faced a 37 shot barrage by the Juniors.
NOTES: Montreal plays host to the Gatineau Olympiques Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm at the Verdun Auditorium.
