
Juniors fall to Oceanic

Montreal, Quebec - The Montreal Juniors lost for the first time in six games with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Rimouski Oceanic Friday night at the Verdun Auditorium.
Rimouski goalie Morgan Clark was the story of the game, after spotting Montreal a 2-0, he closed the door on the Juniors with a 41 save performance in taking the win, including 20 saves alone in the third period. JF Berube took the loss for the Juniors, turning aside 25 of 28 shots he faced.
Montreal jumped out to its 2-0 lead on a first period goal by Louis Leblanc and early in the second period when Philippe Fontaine connected on his 10th of the season. But Rimouski battled back with three unanswered goals in the second period. Alexandre Mallet got them started, and was followed in quick succession by Jerome Gauthier-Leduc and Jarrad Struthers.
