
Juniors beat the Baie-Comeau Drakkar 5-3

Montreal, November 7th 2010 - The Montreal Juniors faced off against Baie-Comeau Sunday afternoon at the Verdun Auditorium. In the end, Montreal won 5-3. Pascal Vincent's team is now 14-3-2-1.
In the first period, Nicolas Chouinard scored at 10:09 with the help of Louis Leblanc and Janos Haro. Later on, Dylan Anderson scored his third goal of the season at 15:56.
In the second, Baie-Comeau narrowed the score with the help of Jean-Philippe Caron at 2:30. The Juniors responded with Philippe Lefebvre's eight and Louis Leblanc's twelfth goal of the season. The score was then 4-2
Red another goal for Montreal assisted by defenseman Xavier Ouellet and left winger Eliezer Sherbatov. Rimouski caught up, scoring one goal in the second period, courtesy of left winger Alex mond, with less than a minute remaining.
The Drakkar caught up in the third thanks to two goals by players Maxim Lamarche and Lukas Cingel. With less than a minute in the period Trevor Parkes scored in an empty net however, bring the final score to 5-3.Montreal Juniors' goalie tienne Marcoux allowed three goals out of 22 shots, while his adversary in nets allowed five of 33 shots.
The Juniors will be playing again at home next Thursday November 7th, 19:05at the Verdun Auditorium when they face off against the Cap-Breton Screaming Eagles.
