
Junior Blue Jackets player, prospects recognized on NHL Central Scouting list

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Junior Blue Jackets have one player and three United States Hockey League Futures Draft picks on the list of top North American skaters for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, to be held in Columbus in June.
Forward Danny Hobbs, a current member of the Junior Blue Jackets team, was rated 165th among North American skaters. Hobbs has five goals and three assists in 30 games this season with the newest USHL franchise.
Defenseman Tommy Cross (6-3, 195, Simsbury, Conn.), who was the Junior Blue Jackets' fifth round selection, 49th overall, in the Futures Draft in October, is rated the No. 10 North American skater. He is the highest of any of the four prospects and plays at Westminster Prep. in Connecticut.
Forwards C.J. Severyn (6-0, 185, Beaver, Pa.) and Andrew Glass (5-11, 180, Wrentham, Mass.) were also on the list of NHL prospects, rated 93rd and 110th, respectively. Severyn was Ohio's ninth-round pick, 97th overall, in the Futures Draft and currently plays for the U.S. National Team Developmental Program (NTDP). Glass was the Junior Blue Jackets' 10th round selection, 109th overall and plays at Nobles Prep. in Massachusetts.
In other news, Ohio acquired forward Anthony Perdicaro (6-0, 187, East Rockaway, N.Y.) from the Soo Greyhounds for cash, General Manager Don Harkins announced today.
"Anthony is a big strong center with good hockey sense and skill," said Harkins.
