
Junior Blue Jackets forward Danny Hobbs on NHL Central Scouting Final Draft Rankings

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio Junior Blue Jackets have one player and three United States Hockey League Futures Draft picks listed in the NHL Central Scouting Final Draft Rankings for the 2007 NHL Entry Draft to be held in Columbus, June 22-23 at Nationwide Arena.
Junior Blue Jackets forward Danny Hobbs (UMASS-Amherst) is ranked No. 147 among North American skaters, after being tabbed as a "player to watch" earlier in the season. Hobbs had 10 goals and 11 assists this season in 60 games with Ohio. He was one of only two players to play in all 60 games with the USHL's newest franchise.
Three Ohio futures picks are also on the same list as Hobbs, defenseman Tommy Cross (Boston College) is rated No. 12, forward Andrew Glass (Boston Univ.) is ranked No. 87, and left wing C.J. Severyn (Ohio State) is No. 105, in the final rankings.
This list is the final rankings of players eligible for the National Hockey League's 2007 Entry Draft. The draft will be a two-day event, with the first round scheduled to begin 7 p.m. Friday, June 22 and rounds two through seven beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 23.
