Tulsa Talons News Release
TULSA-The Tulsa Talons play East Division leader Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pioneers on Saturday, June 6th at the BOK Center. Kickoff is set for 7pm. Saturday's game will be the Talons first home game in almost a month. The Talons lead the series 2-0 over the Pioneers.
Saturday's game will have two of the league's hottest teams colliding. The Pioneers have won their last six games by an average of 29 points while the Talons have won their last seven games by an average of 28.9 points.
Both starting quarterbacks battled for the ArenaCup Championship in 2007. Wilkes-Barre quarterback Ryan Vena is 38-6 and Tulsa's Justin Allgood is 28-6 in their respective careers as starters. This season, Vena is 185-266 with 49 touchdowns with a 69.5 completion percentage. Allgood is 205-296 with 64 touchdowns with a 69.3 completion percentage.
