KODAK, Tenn. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to today's games against the Tennessee Smokies at the Smokies Stadium at 5:30 p.m.

Left-handed relief pitcher Victor Payano has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Payano was 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA in eight relief appearances for the Jumbo Shrimp.

In a corresponding move, left-handed relief pitcher Greg Nappo has been transferred from Triple-A New Orleans to Jacksonville. Nappo made one relief appearance for the Baby Cakes on May 5, working an inning and two-thirds where he allowed a run on two hits with two walks. Nappo previously pitched for the Jumbo Shrimp, where in six relief appearances he had no wins or losses and a 1.29 ERA, allowing just one run on four hits with nine strikeouts in seven innings of work.

The Jumbo Shrimp roster stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

After the Shrimp and Smokies were rained out last night, the clubs will play two seven inning games on Saturday, with first pitch of game one starting at 5:30 p.m. There will be a 30-minute intermission in between games one and two of the doubleheader. In game one the Jumbo Shrimp will start right-handed pitcher Joe Gunkel (0-0, 0.00 ERA) against Tennessee right-hander Duane Underwood, Jr. (1-1, 3.60 ERA). In game two, the Jumbo Shrimp will start right-hander Omar Bencomo (4-0, 1.27 ERA), against Tennessee right-hander Zach Hedges (3-2, 2.51 ERA).
