Bradenton scored twice in the seventh inning to hand the Aiken Foxhounds (0-3) a 2-1 loss Thursday night at Roberto Hernandez Stadium. The Juice (4-0) have now won six straight games and all four since beginning the second half of the season. Aiken has lost 14 of their last 17 games, including all three in the second half.
Reinaldo Ramirez was 3-for-4 for the Hounds while Bradley Key went 2-for-4. Anthony Telford (1-3) was hit with the tough loss, allowing two runs, just one earned, in seven innings while walking none and striking out eight.
Aiken and Bradenton will resume their series on Friday night with first pitch slated for 7:05 PM.
