Jr. Streetkings Registration Underway

SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Registrations are now being taken for the 2010 Jr. StreetKings youth roller hockey spring league, set to begin next month.

Youngsters ages four through 14 who take part will be involved in a 12-game season and receive a jersey and practices.

Evaluations will be done May first with the first practices set to begin the week of May 3rd at the Hernando Civic Center covered rink facility.

The league schedule of games will start on May 10th and will continue through the championship games on June 19th.

Certain equipment will be required for participation, including a hockey helmet with facial cage, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, roller blades and a hockey stick.

Cost to register will be 100 dollars per child. A registration form along with more information can be obtained on the Jr. StreetKings' web site, www.jrstreetkings.com . Registrations may be returned by mail, with a check made out to Hernando Youth Sports, in care of P.O. Box 856, Hernando, MS 38632.
