Mudbugs Vs. Rush: Game 3 Tomorrow At CenturyTel Center

RAPID CITY, SD - The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs will continue their run through the 2010 CHL Ray Miron President's Cup Playoffs tomorrow night in Game 3 of the Northern Conference Finals against the Rapid City Rush at 7:05 pm. The series is tied at one after the teams split the first two games in Rapid City, but the 'Bugs now have the next three games on home ice as they look to take control of the series.
Season ticket holders are reminded to use their tickets marked "Home Game C" for tomorrow night's contest.
Individual tickets for Game 3 are available at the CenturyTel Center box office, through Ticketmaster at (318) 741-9700 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
The Rush took the first game 5-4 in overtime on Saturday night, handing the Mudbugs their first loss of the playoffs to take the early series lead. Bossier-Shreveport came back strong in Sunday's Game 2 however, building a 4-1 lead on the way to an eventual 4-3 victory. Goaltender Parker Van Buskirk carried the load with 26 saves in place of Ken Carroll in the contest, while Joe Blaznek recorded three assists to help the 'Bugs tie the best-of-seven series at one game apiece.
The winner of this Northern Conference Final series will advance to play for the CHL Championship, taking on the Southern Conference Champion in the Ray Miron President's Cup Finals. As the #3 seed in the North, the Mudbugs are playing in their eighth conference finals against the top-seeded Rush, who are making their first-ever playoff appearance in just their second year of existence.
After tomorrow's Game 3, the series continues this weekend with a two more games at the CenturyTel Center. Game 4 is set for 7:05 pm on Friday night, with Game 5 following on Saturday at 7:05. If the series continues beyond this weekend, the teams would return to Rapid City for Games 6 and 7.
