
Jr. Blues Sweep Fighting Falcons

Micah Ranum scored his first goal in a Jr. Blues sweater, giving the team a 4-3 win and season series sweep of the Fighting Falcons.
The Jr. Blues fell behind 1-0 and 3-1 in the second period. Ryan Atkinson put the Jr. Blues on the board first, scoring his 4th goal in his last 4 games. Jack Sloan made the game 3-2 with just over a minute remaining in the second. Less than 30 seconds later Parker Johnson deflected a Terry Leabo shot to even the score at 3.
Just over a minute into the third Trevor Stone won a draw to Micah Ranum who buried a shot top shelf from the faceoff circle to give the Jr. Blues a lead 4-3 and eventual win.
Matt Leon was strong in net making 23 saves. The win gave the Jr. Blues their 4th win over Port Huron and 4-0 record for the season.
