
Jr. Blues look to even weekend series

The Springfield Jr. Blues return to action tonight looking to avenge their 4-1 loss on Friday night. Despite outshooting the Jamestown Ironmen, the Jr. Blues were unable to find the back of the net.
Jack Sloan, who has 3 goals in his last 4 game, scored the only goal for the Jr. Blues on the evening. Jeff McFarland and Ryan Atkinson picked up the assists on the goal. Sloan now leads all defensemen in scoring with 6 goals and 11 assists.
The puck drops tonight at 7 PM. It is Family Fun Skate presented by County Market. The Family Fun skate, which is with the Jr. Blues players following the game, is FREE to anyone in attendace at the game. Skate rental is $2.50.
The first 300 fans in attendance will receive a County Market seat cushion.
