
Jr. Blues Fall to Topeka

Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Roadrunners took the lead first with a goal at the 15:45 mark in the first period until Trevor Stone tied it up with a goal off an assist from Matt Long at the 17:22 mark in the first period. The Roadrunners then scored twice to build a 3-1 lead until Sam Craggs scored off assists from Stone and Isaac Ceh and Matt Long scored off assists from Petr Kuznetsov and Zach Balodis to tie the game up 3-3 at the end of the second period. Topkea then scored to take the lead at 4-3 and then scored two empty net goals to give the game a final score of 6-3
The same two teams will play again Saturday night.
