
Jr. Blues Fall in OT

Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Jr Blues fought hard but fell to the Topeka Roadrunners by the score of 2-1 in overtime.
After both teams were held scoreless in the first period Topeka scored at the 9:24 mark in the second period. The Jr Blues were tied it up at the 6:26 mark in the third period with a goal from Brennan Blaszczak off an assist from Luke Radetic. In an exciting 3 on 3 overtime Topeka scored to earn the victory and get the extra point.
The same teams play tonight at 7:00 at the Nelson Center. It's Halloween Night, where kids 12 under in costume get in free and can compete in a costume contest. There will also be trick or treating with the team after the game.
