Springfield Jr. Blues News Release
The Jr Blues get a victory in their first home game of the season with a 3-2 win over the Coulee Region Chill.
Brady Tomlak got things going in the first period with a goal on a power play assisted by Mike Houle and Anthony Scarsella. The Chill tied it up, but Houle was quick to respond with a goal assisted by Matt Long and Anthony Scarcsella putting the Jr. Blues back in front. The Chill tied it up again until Drew Richter scored to give the Jr Blues the lead at the end of the second period.
The defense held true as neither team was able to score in the third period and the Jr Blues held on to the 3-2 win.
The Jr. Blues will go for the sweep against the Coulee Region Chill on Saturday night at 7:05. There will be a poster giveaway courtesy of Neuhoff Media as well as a post-game Skate with the Team. Â You can get your tickets in advance at any Springfield YMCA and Qik-N-EZ location.
