Jackson, Tenn. -- In coordination with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Jackson Generals announced today the addition of infielder/outfielder Josh Prince to their active roster. In a separate roster move, Generals infielder Ryan Grotjohn was transferred to Extended Spring Training. Prince will be active as of today, and he is expected to be available for the Generals' game against Montgomery. Jackson's active roster now stands at 25 players.

Height/Weight: 6'0", 180 lbs.

Acquired by Arizona as a minor league free agent in January 2018

Selected in the 2009 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers (Rd. 3)

Played 8 games with MLB's Milwaukee Brewers in 2013: 8 at-bats, 1 hit

2017: 127 games with the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League - .263 BA, 11 HR, 52 RBI, 55 SB, .763 OPS
