Jose Canseco Appearing at Sunday's Game for Harvesters

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Kansas City T-Bones have announced that Jose Canseco will be at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Sunday, Aug. 3.
WHAT: Canseco, former major-league slugger, will be participating in a media/celebrity softball game, pregame batting practice, autograph signing during the first three innings of T-Bones game vs. St. Paul, and then a home run derby after the game, presented by Goodcents and Spirit Airlines.
WHEN: Sunday, Aug. 3. The softball game (current roster attached) begins at 3 p.m., the T-Bones game vs. St. Paul at 5:05, and then the home run derby shortly after the conclusion of the baseball game. Gates will open at 3 p.m.
WHY: The softball game and home run derby are benefiting Harvesters, a Kansas City area community food bank.
MEDIA AVAILABILITY: Canseco is scheduled to be available for interviews in the Meat Locker (team store) from 5:05-5:20.
