Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings proud members of the NAHL are proud to announce that Jordyn Kaufer, 19, has signed a commitment to play NCAA Division III Hockey at Concordia College in Moorhead of the MIAC Conference next season.
Kaufer is a 6'4/210 lbs. goaltender from Stillwater, MN. Jordyn said He really enjoyed his time in Aberdeen. The fan base night in and night out is unbelievable! Even when we had a slump, the fans were still crazy and supportive. Jordyn credits Coach Winter with the Wings turn around. Coach Winter came in with a completely new attitude both on and off the ice.
Concordia went 13-12-1 overall with a 10-6 conference record leaving them in 3rd place with a playoff birth. Jordyn will major in Exercise Science and Business and hopes to make a lasting impact on the hockey program. My goal is to be the starter for at least 3 if not all 4 years there.
"We are excited for Jordyn to have the opportunity to continue his hockey career and studies at Concordia College, said Coach Winters. The Aberdeen Wings wish Jordyn the best of luck in his future endeavors !
