Anderson Heat News Release

Former Rockdale County High school and North Georgia College ballplayer Jonthan Haymon,a 6"10 245 center for the Anderson Heat has a heavy burden on his shoulders.Haymon must be an inside force for the Heat for 19 more ballgames until the playoffs in late June states the Heat coaching staff.

Haymon has the potential. Last summer in the SEBL summer pro league at Clayton State University, Haymon control the boards and scored at will. His long arms and scooping shots showed shades of Boston Celtics great Kevin McHale. In the second half the opposing team when into a 2-3 zone to stop him.

The Heat staff know that 6"9 guard/foward Roy Patrick Binion,6"6 Jason Stewart,6"3 Antoine Knighton,6"4 Terico Smothers,6"7 Dejuan Jackson and 6"8 A.J. Stallworth will bring NBA scouts and fans to the Heat ballgames, but think Haymon is the key to a 2006 WBA championship banner.
