Heat has 10 more regular season ballgames to get it right

The Anderson Heat were torched by the Marietta Storm Saturday 156-95 in a ballgame that was decided early.Heat guard sensation 6"1 Octavius Thomas did not play and the team did not have 6"9 shot blocker Shelton Ward who passed away last Wedsday evening.The only bright spots for the Heat were the play of 6"10 Jonthan Haymon 18 points,12 boards,3 blocks and 6"7 Bryce May who led all scorers with 31 points, 13-25 from the field.The team play the Rome Gladiators next Saturday May 26 at home.This will be a rematch ballgame of Rome Gladiators GM/Coach Harold Ellis versus Heat Coach Embry Malone.Last spring 2005 Ellis powerful Rome team play Malone's Georgia Gwizzlies in an exhibition ballgame in which Ellis team won."Probasketballnews.com dubbed Harold Ellis as one of the top coaches in the minors,probaly also in FIBA, if they would add them" says Malone. All WBA teams automatically go to the playoffs which starts in late June.
