
Jones and McClinton Sign Arena Football Contracts

The season continues for two Blizzard defensive standouts, as DB Josh Jones and DL James McClinton sign contracts to play in the Arena Football League.
After logging 58 total tackles, 6 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles with the Green Bay Blizzard this spring, Jones (5-10, 190) joins the Utah Blaze for their season finale against the Cleveland Gladiators.
McClinton (6-0, 305) heads to the northwest to join the defending AFL champion and playoff qualifier Spokane Shock. James spent the last two years with the Blizzard, compiling an impressive stat line: 22 games played, 17.5 sacks, and 74 total tackles, and a spot on the 2nd Team All-IFL in 2011. Watch McClinton as Spokane will take on the Jacksonville Sharks in the AFL Game of the Week this Friday, July 22nd at 7:00 CDT on the NFL Network.
