JOLIET-Over 300 entries and 50 finalists later, Joliet resident Stepahnie Blatnicky emerged with the winning key that started JackHammers CF Adam Klein's 1991 Chevy Cavalier. With her winning key, Blatnicky walked away with the car after last night's 3-1 JackHammers win over the Kansas City T-Bones at Silver Cross Field.
"It was great," said Blatnicky, who plans on giving the car to her daughter who is turning 17 in a few weeks. "I went into this thinking I was gonna win and I did!"
The JackHammers are currently home through Monday, August 31. On Monday, August 31, it's Fan Appreciation Night! Come out to the ballpark for special mystery giveaways throughout the night. The JackHammers take on the Kansas City T-Bones at 6:05 p.m. It's the final chance for students to use their National City Jammer's Book Buddies Program Reading Club Vouchers.
