Hello Kings Fan!
Are you looking for something fun to do with your family this weekend? Come out to Homer Stryker Field this Saturday, May 17, 2003 and get ready for the baseball season at the Kalamazoo Kings FREE pre-season open house. The festivities will begin at 1:00 p.m. and run until 3:00 p.m. Fans will get a sneak peak at the 2003 team and the changes made to the ballpark during the off-season.
The Kings take batting practice on the field from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. and coaches and players will meet with fans and sign autographs from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. Other events and activities planned include guided tours of the Kings Clubhouse and office facilities, dunk tank, and a free foam finger for all kids in attendance. Members of the local media are also invited to meet with players and coaches for interviews from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Also at the open house...stock up on Kalamazoo Kings merchandise before the seasons begins with great sales on 2002 merchandise and see what new items are available for 2003! Show everyone in town that you are a Kings fan!
