* Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina John entered the pro tennis arena after a successful college career at the University of Georgia 2004-2007, he spent most of 2007 ranked No.1 NCAA singles.
* John is currently ranked #19 in the world. In 2010, John won the Heineken Open in Aukland, New Zealand, a win with doubles partner Sam Querrey at Regions Morgan Keegan Championships in Memphis, TN and the pair were finalists at the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 Rome, Italy. Also, in 2010, John Isner was named ATP's Most Improved Player of the Year. He and Sam Querrey team up again, as members of the 2010 United States Davis Cup team.
