After the Joes allowed no long balls in game one of the series, the team with the most home runs in the league struck for two in the bottom of the first off Anderson starter Dave Whitfield.

Scott Houin and Kelly Hunt each hit solo blasts, Hunt his league-leading 15th, as part of Aiken's three-run opening salvo.

The Foxhounds added four runs while batting around in the fifth inning, taking a 7-0 lead before the Joes could get on the board. Anderson finally scored in the top of the sixth when Heath Keel doubled, stole third and scored on a passed ball.
