Anderson Joes News Release
MACON, Ga. -- Anderson's Monday night game at the Macon Music was postponed due to rain in the middle of the fifth inning, with the Joes leading, 3-0.
Anderson tagged Macon starter Ross Stout, the league leader in wins, for three runs before rain hit Luther Williams Field at approximately 7:50 p.m. An hour of rain later and the umpiring crew halted the action.
The teams plan to finish the remainder of Monday's game, picking up in the bottom of the second inning with the Joes leading, before playing a seven-inning game approximately 20-30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The shortened contest will serve as game two of the series.
First pitch in the resumed game one is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
