
Joerger to take leave of absence from Wizards

Bismarck, ND - Dave Joerger, head coach of the defending CBA Champion Dakota Wizards, will miss his first game as a professional head coach tonight.
The Wizards are in Boise, Idaho taking on the Idaho Stampede in CBA action. Joerger's wife Kara, gave birth to their first child a 7lb. 9oz. daughter in Bismarck, early this morning. Joerger flew to Bismarck to be with his family, and should return to the Wizards this weekend as they face the Yakima Sun Kings Friday and Saturday night.
The Wizards will be led tonight by assistant coach Casey Owens. The Wizards are currently in 1st place in the CBA's National Conference with a record of 23-11, they lead the CBA in quarter points with an average of 4.51 per game.
