Halifax Mooseheads GM Cam Russell announced today that 17-year-old forward Joel Blanchard has been cut by the Halifax Mooseheads.
The native of Bas Caraquet, NB was the Mooseheads 8th round selection in the 2011 QMJHL entry draft and will now play for the Dieppe Commandos where he was the 1st overall pick in the MHL draft this past summer.
