Jimmy Turner Returns for 2015 USL PRO Season

IRVINE, CA (January 21, 2015) - Orange County Blues FC is excited to announce that defender James "Jimmy" Turner will be returning for the 2015 season. Turner made 22 appearances for Orange County in 2014, notching two assists.

The left-back is ready to get started: "I am extremely fortunate and happy to return to the OC Blues for the upcoming 2015 USL PRO season. With a new head coach and some new players, we have our sights set on winning the Supporters' Shield and advancing deep into the playoffs."

This will be Turner's third year with the club, having originally joined the LA Blues ahead of the 2013 season. A Mission Viejo resident, Turner attended UC Irvine from 2008-2011, leading the Anteater Men's Soccer team to a 50-20-7 record during his tenure, including 31 shutouts. He was named All-Big West Second team after his senior season.

"I am very pleased that Jimmy is returning to OC Blues FC for the upcoming season. He's a true professional on and off the field, and his commitment to the team and organization is simply first class," said Head Coach Oliver Wyss.
