Jets open training camp

Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release


The Fargo-Moorhead Jets opened their 2004-05 training camp Monday morning at the Moorhead Youth Arena.

Players checked in and met with head coach Todd Knott during the morning hours. After an introductory team meeting, the players then hit the ice for a brisk two-hour practice.

Much of the first day was categorized by the players getting accustomed to their new teammates and coaching staff. While half of the team is comprised of returning veterans, there are many new faces who are still getting acclimated with the Junior A level of play.

The Jets are practicing all this week from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Moorhead Youth Arena. In addition, the team has three exhibition games and a "Meet the Team" event during the training camp schedule.
