Jets Announce Midwest Division Play Pause
November 24, 2020 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Janesville Jets News Release
JANESVILLE, WI - The Janesville Jets, proud members of the North American Hockey League, have announced a temporary pause in our league schedule until December 31, 2020. The pause is due to schedule complications associated with the most recent public health Order issued by the state of Minnesota, and the Jets are evaluating the best possible option to get back on the ice as soon as possible. The postponed Midwest Division games will be rescheduled for a later date in the season.
During the pause in league play, the Jets will continue to follow all team, NAHL, state, and local guidelines to maintain a safe and responsible practice schedule. The Jets will also add four exhibition games, two home and two away, versus USA Hockey's National Team Development Program (NTPD) U17 team. The teams will play in Janesville on Saturday, December 5 at 7:00pm CT, and on Sunday, December 6, at 3:00pm CT. The Jets will then travel to Plymouth, Michigan, the following weekend. Dates and times of the away series versus the NTDP U17 team will be announced later.
The temporary pause of spectator admission to Jets home games, announced on November 19, is still in effect.
