Jackson Generals News Release
JACKSON, TENN. (JUNE 20, 2009) - The Seattle Mariners have announced the following roster moves affecting the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx.
The Diamond Jaxx have activated LHP Nick Hill from the Temporarily Inactive List. Hill was placed there on May 26th.
RHP Joe Newby has been sent to high Class-A High Desert of the California League. Newby pitched in 14 games with the Jaxx, including a scoreless frame last night. Newby joined the Jaxx on April 19th in Jacksonville.
