Jaxx game with Huntsville postponed on Saturday

Jackson, Tenn. (May 9, 2009) - The Diamond Jaxx game with the Huntsville Stars, scheduled for tonight at 7:05 has been cancelled. The game will be made up as part of a double-header on Sunday, June 7th, with the first game beginning at 2:05. The second game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Tonight's Honor Roll kids representing Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, Hardin, Dyer, Decatur, Fayette, Lauderdale, Benton and McNairy Counties that were scheduled to be at the Honor Roll Night, presented by Union University tonight can come back on Saturday, May 16th or Monday, May 18th.
The Pink Jersey Auction, benefitting Union's Relay for Life Team for Breast Cancer Awareness has been moved to Saturday, May 16th during the scheduled game with the Birmingham Barons starting at 7:05. Fans have will have a chance to bid on game-worn pink pin striped jerseys by the Diamond Jaxx players. There will also be post-game fireworks brought to you by JEA next Saturday as well.
The Diamond Jaxx regular rain check rules will apply. If you had a ticket for tonight's game you may exchange your ticket stub and receive a free ticket to any game for the remainder of the 2009 season.
The Diamond Jaxx will open up a series in Kodak, TN against the Tennessee Smokies Monday night at 6:15 CDT.
