Janesville Jets News Release
The Janesville Jets have secured home ice advantage for the first round of the 2012 NAHL Midwest Divisional playoff games, although the opponent is not set yet. The first two games of the best three-out-of-five series will be held at the Janesville Ice Arena on Friday, April 6th and Saturday, April 7th starting at 7 PM, with doors open at 5:45 PM.
Tickets will be available for purchase on those game nights at the box office starting at 5:45 PM or in advance by calling (608) 752-5387 (JETS). Playoff ticket pricing will be the same as the regular season: Only $10 for adults, $7 for children 5 to 18 and seniors 62 and over, and kids 4 and under are free. Special discounted group packages are also available, but must be purchased in advance.
The Jets are currently in second place in the division with 76 points in 58 games. The St. Louis Bandits are in first place with 79 points in only 55 games. The Springfield Jr. Blues are in third place with 60 points and the Coulee Region Chill secured the fourth playoff spot in the Midwest Division with 41 points.
The Janesville Jets probably will be playing Springfield in the first playoff round, but it could be Coulee Region depending if current first place St. Louis loses the rest of their games and the Jets win the remaining two regular season games. More information will follow on the playoffs as standings and additional games are finalized.
The Jets do not play this weekend. The last two Jets regular season games are at home on Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st versus the Springfield Jr. Blues.
