
Janesville Jets and NAHL Release 2012-13 Regular Season Schedule

Janesville Jets News Release
The 2012 - 2013 Janesville Jets hockey season schedule has been officially announced by the North American Hockey League (NAHL). The 28 home Janesville Jets hockey games played at the Janesville Ice Arena (821 Beloit Avenue) as well as the 28 away games played at opposing NAHL teams locations are listed on the attached sheet. Also attached is a separate, comprehensive NAHL schedule listing all games played by all 24 teams this season.
The Jets and all other NAHL teams will play 60 regular season games this year. When the Jets play four games at the NAHL Showcase Tournament in Blaine, Minnesota, on September 12-15, 2012, two of those games are considered "home" games and two are considered "away" for statistical purposes.
Of special note regarding the Janesville Jets 2012 -13 schedule:
The Jets home opener weekend is September 21 and 22 where will be hosting a "Welcome Back Party" to kick-off the new season and the extensive arena renovations. The Jets play the Fairbanks (AK) Ice Dogs from the West Division.
The following weekend, September 28 and 29, Janesville will host another Alaskan team from the West Division, the Kenai River Brown Bears.
The Jets will travel to Alaska to play Fairbanks on January 11 and 12, 2013, and then Kenai River on January 18 and 19.
This season the Jets are playing in the 8-team North Division and will play the majority of their games against these teams: the Jamestown Ironmen, Johnstown Tomahawks, Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, Michigan Warriors, Port Huron Fighting Falcons, Soo Eagles and Springfield Jr. Blues.
The Jets also have two series at home and two series away versus the Coulee Region Chill, the NAHL's only other Wisconsin-based organization.
Detailed information on ticket pricing and discount group ticket options will be announced within two weeks. The Janesville Jets will issue another media release announcing that information.
The main Jets tryout camp will be held July 11th - July 15th at the Eagles Nest Ice Arena in Verona, WI (451 East Verona Rd.). This camp is open to the public.

NAHL releases 2012-13 regular season schedule
37th season of NAHL hockey to open September 8th
FRISCO, TEXAS -The North American Hockey League (NAHL) has announced the release of the 2012-13 regular-season schedule. Entering its 37th season, the NAHL is the largest and oldest USA Hockey-sanctioned junior league in the United States. This past season, over 170 players made NCAA college commitments.

Each of the 24 teams in the league's four divisions - the Central, North, South and West - will play 60 regular season games.
The regular season will commence on September 8, 2012 and conclude on March 30, 2013.
The 10th annual NAHL Showcase Tournament will be held from September 12-15, 2012 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota where all 24 NAHL teams will play four regular-season games.
Details and a complete schedule for the NAHL Showcase and the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament for the 2012-13 season will be announced on a future date. The 2013 Robertson Cup Championship Tournament, which crowns the NAHL's playoff champion and USA Hockey's Tier II Junior A national champion, will be held from May 9-12, 2013. A location has yet to be announced.
