The Jammers impressive all-around team effort led them to a 12-0 shutout win over the Newark Pilots.
Then in the bottom of the 3rd, the Jammers got on the board from a Ben Livorsi single (St. Louis) to bring in Chase Keng (UTSA) to make the lead 1-0.
Right after that in the bottom of the 4th, the Jammers added another 2 runs this inning. Strarting off with a Daillin Lee (UC-Irvine) single to bring in Rashad Stewart (Winston-Salem) to extend their lead. Then Josh Brammell (NC-Central) to bring in Daillin Lee. Following that, Alex O'Donnell (Mercyhurst) hit a 2-run homer bringing in Chase Keng to make the score 5-0.
Following that in the bottom of the 5th, the Jammers added an insurance run to the game as Daillin Lee singled to bring in Ben Livorsi making it 6-0.
In the bottom of the 6th, the Jammers scored for the 3rd inning in a row as Ben Livorsi singled in Alex O'Donnell to further their lead to 7-0.
Then in the bottom of the 8th, Ben Livorsi brought in 2 more runs as he singled to bring in Chase Keng and Alex O'Donnell. Following that, Rashad Stewart singled in Brandon Nania. Then Chris Rubottom hit a SAC fly to bring in Ben Livorsi. Gino Tortiello (Rowan-Burlington) grounded out to in Sterling Hayes (Vanderbilt) to make the score 12-0.
Jammers starter Christian Young (West Virginia) gave the Jammers 5.0 innings while giving up 0 runs, 3 hits, and 4 strikeouts. Newark's starter Trent Baker (Angelo State) went 3.2 innings, gave up 6 hits, and had 4 strikeouts.
The Jammers cruise to a 12-0 win over the Newark Pilots.
