Jamestown Jammers News Release
The Jammers defeated the Newark Pilots by a score of 8-7 in 10 innings.
The Pilots jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 3rd Inning as Richard Phillips delivered a 2-run RBI single and Nic Kent drove in a run with a 2-out double.
The Jammers chipped away throughout the game as Jeff Timko (Eastern Michigan) went 3 for 5 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI.
In the bottom of the 8th inning the Jammers trailed by a score of 7-5 but scored on an Alex O'Donnell (Mercyhurst) 2 out 2 RBI single to right field to tie the game.
Chase Keng (UTSA) drove in the winning run on a 1-out walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th as Josh Brammell (NC Central) came in to score.
