Jammer's Book Buddies Reading Club Adds Game Dates

JOLIET, IL - As the baseball season winds down and the school year gets underway, the Joliet JackHammers want to give kids one last chance to extend their summer. Today the team announced that Jammer's Book Buddies Reading Club vouchers can be used for any game of the team's final homestand from August 31 to September 6. Jammer's Book Buddies, proudly sponsored again this year by PNC Bank, encourages children to read and set reading goals for themselves. For their hard work, the kids are rewarded with ticket vouchers to JackHammer home games.
"Summer always seems to go by too fast, and we know many families go out of town," says Kelli Drechsel, Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator for the Orange Crush. "We wanted to give all the kids who earned Reading Club vouchers a few extra chances to use them before summer was officially over."
Reading Club vouchers are good for general admission/lawn seating and can be used for direct entry at any gate at Silver Cross Field. Families wishing to upgrade their vouchers to Box Seats can do so for just $5 at the JackHammers Box Office. Those looking to upgrade their tickets are encouraged to do so prior to the game date to avoid any lines at the Box Office.
