Toledo Mud Hens Promotions for August 10-13

Friday, August 10 (Durham, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.) - The Mud Hens open a four-game series with the Durham Bulls, Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

- One of the most anticipated nights of the season: Jamie Farr Bobblehead Night, courtesy of American Family Insurance! 2012 is part two of the three-part Jamie Farr bobblehead series with the Toledo Mud Hens. The 2012 doll features an ode to Corporal Klinger as we honor the 40th anniversary of M*A*S*H and our own Jamie Farr's role in the award-winning show. This year's bobble has Jamie dressed in army fatigues, a Mud Hens hat, and carrying a pennant that was displayed on the show, courtesy of American Family Insurance. Mud Hens fans can even expect a special appearance from Jamie Farr himself!

- The Toledo Mud Hens are celebrating Toledo Walleye Hockey Night at Fifth Third Field! To help us usher in the new Walleye season, current and former Toledo hockey players are signing autographs the first three innings of the game! The Swamp Shop has NEW Toledo Walleye fanwear to check out. When you enter through the Home Plate gate, you'll walk through the GIANT 30 foot Walleye Tunnel the players skate through before every game. Don't sleep in too late, Walleye single-game tickets go on sale Saturday morning, August 11, at 11 a.m.

- It's the final Kroger Food Drive Friday of the season! Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game. Bring in three or more items to receive a Mud Hens/Kroger re-usable shopping bag.

- Don't leave before the game ends because you will miss out on BIGS Sunflower Seeds! Pick up this irresistible snack at the gates after the conclusion of game. Try to have just one, we dare you.

- Why not end the night with a colorful celebration of fireworks, courtesy of Corner Dental?

Saturday, August 11 (Durham, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.) -The Hens take on the Bulls for the second game of the homestand.

- It's that time of year...it's back to school time! The Mud Hens, Kroger and BCSN want to make sure your kids are prepared for the upcoming school year. The first 2,000 kids (14 & under) through the gates receive a sturdy pencil pouch with all of the school necessities along with a Toledo Mud Hens school folder.

- Loud and proud! That is how we do it here at Fifth Third Field. Make sure you stay after the game to see a momentous fireworks display that never disappoints.

Sunday, August 12 (Durham, 1st pitch at 6 p.m. - Gates open at 4:30 p.m.) - The Hens and Bulls continue their series at Fifth Third Field.

- If you didn't catch our back to school give away on Saturday, don't worry because you can snag a sturdy pencil pouch with all of the school necessities on Sunday! The first 2,000 kids (14 & under) through the gates get one, courtesy of Kroger and BCSN.

- It's Autograph Sunday! Two Mud Hens players are signing autographs an hour before the first pitch. The players are located above Section 119 on the main concourse for 30 minutes.

- Come see the final performance of the Chicklets Dance Team! The girls dazzle us one last time before the game and during the game, presented by Root's Poultry.

- It's your lucky day! Join the Toledo Mud Hens and the Blarney for an Irish Heritage Celebration. The sights and sounds of the Irish take over Fifth Third Field with Irish dancers, bagpipe music and green fireworks to conclude the evening. Don't forget to wear your green!

- BBoy McCoy is making a special appearance at Fifth Third field! Watch the most popular bat boy in minor league baseball moonwalk across the field between innings.

- We know that the kids have to go to bed sometime, but let them stay out just a little bit longer so they can run the bases after the game!

- If they're running the bases, they may as well stay for the post-game fireworks, courtesy of Wildwood Environmental Academy.

Monday, August 13th (Durham, 1st pitch at 7 p.m. - Gates open at 6 p.m.) - The Mud Hens and Bulls wrap up their series in Toledo.

All Mud Hens games can be heard live on Fox Sports Radio, WCWA, and seen live on BCSN. Friday and Saturday television pre-game show on BCSN will begin at 6:00pm. The radio pregame show starts 30 minutes before the scheduled game time.
