
Jam Alumni Everywhere in NBA Summer League

(Bakersfield, Calif. - July 14, 2010) - The Bakersfield Jam is proud to report that 12 former team members will be suiting up for NBA teams in the 2010 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"We're proud to have so many former Jam players participating in the Las Vegas Summer League," said Jam Head Coach Will Voigt. "It's a great testament to the improvement they made while in Bakersfield, as well as their continued dedication to making an NBA roster."
The twenty one NBA teams participating in the summer league - which began on Friday, July 9 at University of Nevada-Las Vegas' Thomas and Mack Center - include several standouts from the 2009-2010 Bakersfield Jam. Brian Butch started two games for the Denver Nuggets before being sidelined by a knee injury, Jeremy Wise is expected to play for the Golden State Warriors pending medical clearance, and Alade Aminu scored 14 points to go with three rebounds, two steals and a block in his debut for the Atlanta Hawks.
