Tulsa Oilers News Release

Left wing Jake Riddle has signed with the Tulsa Oilers for the 2009-10 Central Hockey League season. It will be Riddle's second season with the Oilers. The 6-foot-1, 212-pounder was limited to 52 games last season, due to a knee injury suffered November 22nd. He led the Oilers in goals at the time of his injury, and then scored goals in his first three games back and five goals in his first five games upon his return. "I'm looking forward to having a full injury free season," Riddle said. "Tulsa's a beautiful city and the organization has been good to me. I really like and respect what Bruce (head coach Bruce Ramsay) is doing to build a winning team." In his 52 games last season, Riddle (who was the eighth round pick, 239th overall of the Minnesota wild in the 2001 National Hockey League entry draft), had 22 goals and 17 assists for 39 points and 162 penalty minutes. Season tickets for the Oilers 2009-10 season in the BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
