Young comes to Kentucky after a notable collegiate career at Huntingdon College, where he played in the defensive backfield for the Hawks. A reliable presence on defense, Young contributed throughout his time with the program and brings experience competing at the college level to the Barrels' secondary.
From Munford, Alabama, Young has built a foundation at Huntingdon, earning playing time in multiple seasons and taking part in the team's defensive efforts against a variety of opponents.
Young's addition gives Kentucky another dependable defender as the Barrels continue assembling a balanced and competitive roster for their inaugural 2026 season in arena football.
