Jacksonville Wave to hold second open tryout camp

Jacksonville, FL. Larry Jacobs, GM of the ABA Jacksonville Wave professional basketball team today announced the second open tryout camp for the team beginning play this November. According to Jacobs, "37 players attended the first Wave's camp; the team signed 5 to contracts and extended an invitation for 8 to attend the second camp."

The camp will be held Sat, Jul 17 and Sun, Jul 18 at the Episcopal High School, 4455 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Special rates are available at the Homewood Suites, call (904) 733-9299, mention WAVE special rates.

Registration for the camp will begin promptly at 8AM. The fee is $150. which must be paid with money order or cashier's check. Complete details and requirements can be obtained from Coach Carter.
