
Jacksonville Jam To Hold Open Tryouts

Jacksonville, FL - The Jacksonville JAM will hold their final Open Player Tryouts for the upcoming 2007-2008 season on Saturday September 8, 2007 at the UNF Arena located at 4567 St. Johns Bluff Road South - Jacksonville, FL 32224-2672. Sign in starts promptly at 8:30 AM with the camp running from 9AM to 5PM that day.
Coach Scott Cooper and the JAM staff will be making their final evaluations and provide desiring players the opportunity to earn a spot for the Jacksonville JAM Training-Veteran camp which begins in October. The JAM has searched for talent throughout the summer as they have held tryout camps in Jacksonville, Fl, Marietta, Ga, and Tallahassee, Fl.
"We've seen some great athletes through the camps we've run" stated Coach Scott Cooper. "There was a tremendous amount of talent, desire and effort put out by the attendees we've seen thus far. We believe we are forming the nucleus of what will be a talented invitation list for training camp come October."

Walk up registration will be permitted if space is available for a registration fee of $175 (cash or money order only) on Sept 8th.
The Jacksonville JAM successfully launched its inaugural season in the 2006-2007 American Basketball Association Season.
