Jacksonville Jam hire top assistant coach

Jacksonville, FL. The ABA Jacksonville Jam today announced that Jacksonville native, Scott Cooper, has been selected by Jacksonville Jam Director of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Steve Tucker to serve on his coaching staff as his Top Assistant Coach for the team that begins play in November.

"I've been impressed with Scott since I met him just before our first tryout camp earlier this summer. His attentiveness to detail and the manner he worked in our tryout camps caught my attention and I just felt he would be a good fit on our coaching staff. I look forwarde to working with Coach Coop and I know he'll do a good job for our team in this position," stated Coach tucker.

Cooper served as Assistant Coach at Florida Community College for years and has been on the basketball coaching staff at Wolfson High School as the Head JV Coach and Assistant Coach for the Varsity team. Cooper had a stellar career as a player and was All-Conference and All-City at Wolfson and played on the onkly #1 NJCAA ranked college basketball team that Tallahassee Community College ever had.
