Odessa Jackalopes News Release

(Odessa, TX) - After returning home from their longest road trip of the season, the Odessa Jackalopes will use their first home games in nearly a month to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. The team will wear specialty jerseys during their Friday and Saturday games at the Ector County Coliseum, when they host the Arizona Sundogs, then auction off the jerseys after the Saturday contest to raise funds.

Both games begin at 7:05 PM. Tickets and more information are available by calling (432) 552-7825 or visiting jackalopes.org. Fans can visit the various McDonald's locations in Odessa to pick up a voucher for a free ticket to the weekend's games.

"Ronald McDonald House Charities is proud to provide quality services to the Permian Basin area through our programs," said Dina Jeffries, Executive Director of RMHC. "We appreciate the partnership we have with McDonald's and the Odessa Jackalopes. It is always nice to be involved with other organizations that are charitable minded".

The Jackalopes currently hold a 31-6-3 record this season, and lead the CHL's Southern Conference by eight points over second-place Allen.

The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team is in the middle of their 13th season in the Permian Basin. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-PUCK or visiting jackalopes.org.
